The incredibly
simple, patented design
of our Flo-CSS offers the following
advantages:
• The new design is shorter
than other units, so it can be installed
in facilities where head room is an
issue.
• The innovative shuttle system
moves between the rake frame and the
lift frame at the appropriate time during
the cycle. This means a reduced number
of parts, less cost, and easier maintenance.
• No deadplate is required.
• The entire unit is driven by a
single ball screw.
• The ball screw is automatically
lubricated.
• The positive wiping action is
parallel to the rake surface.
Benefits
• Improved solids retention
efficiency with angled bar screen design.
• More solids and grease removal
through unique rake design and operation.
• Screw drive requires less maintenance
than conventional rack and pinion drives.
• Fewer components to maintain and
the convenience of above channel service.
• Better liquid flow with reduced
turbulence and low head loss.
• Lower capital cost through fewer
mechanical parts.
• Quick, easy installation without
channel modification.
Technical Specifications
• Maximum
screen width is 6 feet. Multiple screens
for wider channels.
• Bar spacing can be from 1/4 inch
to 2 inches.
• Standard dump height to 28 feet
from the top of the channel. Extend dump
height to 56 feet with an
additional lift.
• Operating systems can be fully
hydraulic or electric drive with pneumatic
cylinders.
