Channel Grinder/Comminutor
Flo-Minutor
 
Utilizing an innovative horizontal orientation, the Flo-Minutor's rotor is constructed of carefully spaced 304 Stainless Steel rings.
Wastewater travels through the 1/2-inch spaced rings, capturing larger particles around the outside of the rotor.
These solids are transported by the cutters until they come in contact with the knives, which macerate the solids.
Benefits:
Fewer mechanical parts to maintain.
Cutters and knives are D2 tool steel hardened to 62-65 Rockwell.
Modular construction for easy channel installation.
The total hydraulic force is applied to each cutter.
Hydraulic drive motor with simple sprocket and chain drive.
Horizontal cutting plane prevents grinding of gravel, sand and grit.

Maximum capacity is 20.0 MGD in a single unit.
Constructed of 304 or 316 Stainless Steel.
